Description
Castrol Tribol™ WX Spray (previousy called Optisil™ WX Spray) is a wax-like silicone synthetic lubricant spray, which
forms an almost transparent dry lubricating film with good adhesion.
It has good compatibility with non-metallic machine elements or materials and outstanding separation ability for tools
and workpieces made out of plastics.
Application
Tribol WX Spray can be used in many applications as shown below.
Textile Industry – Plastic rollers and combs, grippers, bolts and rods of rapier looms.
Paper and Wood Industries – Cut-off blades for paper and pulp, saw blades, transport chain guides, wooden
rails (furniture industry) etc.
Metal Working Industries – Rolling knives (extended service lives), trimming of sheet metal (ensures smooth,
clean edges), cutting of soft metals, non-cutting shaping of special steels.
Apparatus Engineering and Precision Mechanics – Guides of sliding surfaces, small gears (precision
instruments, i.e. cameras, office equipment, food processing devices).
Rubber and Plastic Applications Resp. Processing – Guides, O-rings, cutting of acrylic glass, as a separating
agent for manufacture of transparent casings of industrial batteries and accumulators.
