Castrol HoniloTM 971 is chlorine and heavy-metal free neat cutting oil especially formulated with a unique combination of
ester, extreme pressure (EP) additives and base oil to optimise machining performance, enhance surface finish and
lower the overall operating costs.
Honilo 971 is suitable for use in central systems as well as individual machines.
Application
Honilo 971 has been designed for severe honing and superfinishing of ferrous and non-ferrous materials using CBN and
diamond tools. It can also be used for grinding applications, deep drilling and general machining of ferrous and non
ferrous metals.
